Independent contractor
You contract with MB Global as an owner-operator and run your own business.
Rental equipment
Trucks are rented from MB Global. There is no lease-purchase.
OTR runs
Recommended rhythm: 2 to 3 weeks on the road, then a few days at home. No miles or home time are promised.
Requirements
Class A CDL, 2 years of OTR, no DUI or DWI, no SAP history, current DOT medical card.

Do I have to live in the state I pick?
Yes. MB Global brings on owner-operators based on the state they live in, so open the page for your home state. The runs themselves are over the road and are not limited to that state.
Which states are you not hiring in?
Right now we are not hiring owner-operators who live in Illinois, North Carolina, California, Oregon or Washington. Drivers in the 36 states shown on the map can apply all year.
Do I need any endorsements?
No. A valid Class A CDL is enough. You also need at least 2 years of OTR experience, no DUI or DWI on record, no SAP history and a current DOT medical card.
Is there a lease-purchase option?
No. Equipment is rental only, and you are not buying a truck through MB Global. You run as an independent contractor, not as a company employee.
How long is the pre-qualifying form on each state page?
Six questions, about a minute. It is not the full FMCSA application, and the answers go only to our recruiting team. A recruiter follows up with drivers who qualify.
